The English major ensures students’ engagement with and command on:
o Reading and writing in various rhetorical contexts
o Interpreting and analyzing broad range of texts and genres
o Developing and sustaining criticality.
o Developing language skills in connection with the surrounding social setup
o Understanding various approaches to second language acquisition/learning
o Production of independent research
o Multiple historical and cultural contexts of language and literaturs.
o The terminology, methodology and theories of English Studies
ICS or FSC or FA/F.Sc (Pre Eng.) or equivalent.
Age limit is not applicable in this program.
